RADIO CONTROLLED KITS
We make a large selection of pre-made Radio Controlled conversion Kits. There is a different kit for each of the growing range of Ready to Run locomotives available from companies such as Accucraft, Aristocraft, Bachmann, Fine Scale Brass, and Tower models. Each kit has everything you need to fully convert a two-rail loco, to battery powered Radio Controlled operation. You supply the loco, we supply the kit. (See RTR Locomotives)
SIMPLE ASSEMBLY
All the components of a Peter Spoerer Radio Controlled kit are supplied as plug-together units, and differ from loco to loco. Some kits have extra parts such as coal loads to hide away the control panel on tank engines. The only soldering required is to unsolder the two rail pick up wires from the loco’s electric motor, and solder on the motor plug wires. Sometimes holes need to be drilled through floors or bulkheads of locos to pass wires through, but other than that, assembly is very simple. A full stage-by-stage colour illustrated booklet is supplied with every kit, and conversion takes an hour or so to complete.
DIVERSITY
You can buy kits for either Spektrum or Revolution 57000 operation. Your choice. For this reason there are now many many different kits available. Also each kit can be bought with, and without transmitters, (Tx) and receivers (Rx). Below is a price list for both Spektum and Revolution 57000 conversion kits. Sorry it's a bit complicated.
